AB  - Rearch of quality of life in patients with dementia comes to the fore, as a result of increasing incidence of dementia in population, incurable character of dementia, long-term care, progressive and invalidizing character in end-stage dementia. The paper proposes survey of basic approaches to quality of life research in wide context, shows specific features in quality of life research in dementias as well as possibilities for improving quality of life in patients with dementia.
